Port Douglas is 70 kilometer north of Cairns on the east
coast.
It is a small but very touristy village, with heaps of
good restaurants, and beautiful beaches everywhere.
While I have been there for more than 6 weeks, I have
not made many pictures... Must have been that I was to busy enjoying myself!
Due to a faulty disk, I lost the high resolution version of the first picture.
This is the spot on a camping ground where I have been
for more than 6 weeks.
The whole area on the north east coast of Australia is a
sugar cane area. Here is a harvester at work.
On this little beach just a few K's south of Port Douglas I
have spend quite a bit of time getting a tan.
